Here in the South, we will deep fry anything. Potatoes? Yes! Mild peppers? Heck yes! But not before we batter those puppies* in chickpeas flour and then deep-fry them so perfectly that words fail to describe it. Words, themselves, are humbled in the presence of these pakoras.
